Its subsidiaries include Qatar Petrochemical Company, which is engaged in the production and sale of ethylene, polyethylene, hexane, and other petrochemical products; Qatar Fuel Additives Company Limited, which constructs, owns, operates, and maintains facilities for the production, marketing, and export of methyl-tertiary-butyl-ether and methanol; Qatar Fertiliser Company, which is engaged in the production and sale of urea and ammonia; and Qatar Steel Company, which is engaged in the manufacturing of steel billets and reinforcing bars for sale in the domestic and export markets.
