In addition, through Energia de la Patagonia y Aysen SA (EPA) is engaged in the generation, transportation and distribution of energy. Invercap is also active in the iron ore mining, as well as processing and production of steel, through its interests in CAP SA, Comsab SA, Sabimet SA, Tecnoacero SA, Novacero SA and Tecnoacero Uno SA. Other subsidiaries include Empresa Electrica Cuchildeo SpA, Empresa Electrica Chaica SpA, Empresa Electrica La Arena SpA and Empresa Electrica Florin SpA, Empresa Electrica Perquilauquen SpA and Empresa Electrica Epril SpA. As of December 31, 2012, the Company was a 24.21%-owned affiliate of Inmobiliaria Lo Arcaya SA.
