The company is headquartered in New York City, New York and currently employs 1,797 full-time employees. The firm is engaged in exploration, development, production, transportation, purchase and sale of crude oil, natural gas liquids (NGL), and natural gas with production operations located in the United States (U.S.), Guyana, the Malaysia/Thailand Joint Development Area (JDA) and Malaysia. The firm operates through two segments: E&P and Midstream. The E&P segment explores for, develops, produces, purchases and sells crude oil, NGL and natural gas. The Midstream segment provides fee-based services, including gathering, compressing and processing natural gas and fractionating NGL; gathering, terminaling, loading and transporting crude oil and NGL; storing and terminaling propane, and water handling services primarily in the Bakken shale play of North Dakota. The firm conducts exploration activities primarily offshore Guyana, in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico, and offshore Suriname.
