Georgina Energy Plc engages in the exploration for helium, hydrogen, and hydrocarbons in Australia. The Company’s projects include Hussar and Mt Winter. The Company’s principal onshore interests are held through its wholly owned Australian subsidiary, Westmarket Oil & Gas. The Hussar Prospect is located in the Officer Basin in Western Australia and Westmarket O&G holds a 100% working interest in the exploration permit. The Mt Winter Prospect is located in the Northern Amadeus Basin between the producing Surprise Oil Field and Mereenie Oil and Gas Field and has significant prospectivity for helium, natural hydrogen and hydrocarbons. Helium is used in cryogenics, welding, inert atmospheres, electronics, lifting, pressure & purging, hybrid vehicles, and helium-filled hard drives. Hygiene is used for reducing iron ore in steel and electronics manufacturing, glassmaking and various chemical processes.
