The Gulf Bank of Kuwait engages in the provision of financial services. The Bank is structured into two business segments: the Commercial Banking segment, which includes acceptance of deposits from individuals, corporate, and institutional customers and providing consumer loans, overdrafts, credit card facilities, and funds transfer facilities to individuals, as well as other credit facilities for corporate and institutional customers; and the Treasury & Investments segment, which provides money market, trading, and treasury services, including foreign exchange, spot quotations, forwards, and swaps, and manages the Bank’s funding operations through treasury bills, government securities, placements, and acceptances with other banks. Gulf Capital Investment Company K.S.C.C. is a subsidiary of the Bank.
