Asante Gold Corp. is a mineral exploration and gold production company, which engages in the assessment, acquisition, development, and operation of mineral properties. The firm is operating the Bibiani and Chirano Gold Mines and continues with detailed technical studies at its Kubi Gold Project. All mines and exploration projects are located on the prolific Bibiani and Ashanti Gold Belts. The Bibiani Project's Mining Lease concessions cover an area of approximately 49.82 km2. The Chirano Gold Mine comprises a granted mining lease in the Western North Region of Ghana encompassing a multi-deposit complex, within which fourteen gold deposits. Chirano comprises the Obra, Sariehu and Mamnao and Mamnao-Sariehu gap open pit mines and the Akwaaba, Akoti Far South, Tano, Suraw and Obra underground mines. The firm is also engaged in exploring its Keyhole, Fahiakoba and Betenase projects for new discoveries, all adjoining or along the strike of major gold mines near the center of Ghana's Golden Triangle.
