Aramit Ltd. engages in the manufacturing and production of cement materials. The principal activities of the Company are the manufacturing and marketing of asbestos products. The firm is a manufacturer of coated roofing materials, drainage pipes, ceiling insulating sheets, and others. The firm is the producer of items like large section corrugated sheets, light weight corrugated sheets, flat sheets, moldings, pipes and some re-sale products. Its large section corrugated sheets are used for roofing and wall cladding. The sheets are manufactured in its Chittagong factory. Its flat sheets are a decorative element, mainly for ceiling and partitions. The product molding includes two-piece close fitting adjustable ridges, barge board, ridge finial, corner piece, expansion joint cover piece, louvres and one-piece ridge cap. Its pipes are used for rainwater, drain water, soil, irrigation and chimney (advanced stove) applications. Its corner pieces are used to close gap at the junction of two walls at a right angle.
